Service Description

This online class for expectant parents will review the basic skills needed to maximize breast/chest feeding success in the crucial first week of baby's life when milk supply and latch are being established.  Covers: -Basic physiology of lactation -Sending the signal to your body to make milk -How to latch for comfort and effectiveness -Newborn behaviors related to feeding -Protecting your milk supply during challenges -Best practices and common mistakes -Resources for additional breastfeeding preparation Voluntary donations will be accepted at the time of the class. This is completely optional. Suggested donation is $10-30 per family, but please pay an amount that you feel comfortable with, or nothing at all! This class is designed to be accessible to anyone who would like to join.
